Admission to the Master of Science program is open to students with an undergraduate degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, quantitative management or a similar field. The M.S. degree does not require a thesis, although a student interested in pursuing research or possibly continuing their education beyond a master’s degree is encouraged to write one.
Students interested in broad training in transportation finance, law, safety and security, the environment, and policy-making, may wish to consider the M.A. in Transportation Policy, Operations, and Logistics in the GMU School of Public Policy.

Janille recently relocated from Tampa, Florida. While in Tampa she worked in Intermodal Systems Planning at the Florida Department of Transportation. She also worked in consulting as a transportation planner/engineer. Janille was a member of the Tampa Bay Institute of Transportation Engineers, and an active member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar. As Vice President of WTS, she served on the steering committee for Transportation Supersession – the signature event for the transportation industry in Tampa Bay.
